Reviews

I enjoyed finding out the "unspoken" information about past Presidents fascinating. I believe that every American should read the Declaration of Independence and not only know the Presidents who signed it but because it is the rights in which our country is founded on. You can't defend rights you don't know you have. I fisrt bought this book looking for a portable way to get the Constitution and the Decloration of Independence for quick referance. What I got was information that was usable. The book has many fasinating facts about the constitution and the founding Fathers as well as the documents themselvs and the Articals of Confederation. I recommend every one to own this book if they love America and all that it has to stand for. This is a great resource.

You will not only learn what the constitution says, but you will learn about those who signed it and what became of them. You will learn about the constitution that predated the current constitution, how soon the amendments were made after the constitution was ratified, and so much more! I had no idea that women were given the right to vote less than one hundred years ago, nor did I know that some of our founding fathers had already expressed emancipation sentiments, or that Jefferson had a speech impediment! I couldn't put this little book down even when I stopped reading it, and I plan on carrying it with me in my pocket.
